Bad news: it’s not going to be anytime soon.
When will Fast and Furious 10 premiere?
Universal confirmed that Fast and Furious 10 will release on April 2023. This is exactly a two year delay from the film’s originally scheduled premiere date of April 2021. The delay makes some sense in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and should give the crew enough time to work through the expected COVID-related production delays and slowdowns. According to an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Vin Diesel confirmed that filming on Fast 10 (and probably also 11) will start on January 2022.
Who are the confirmed Fast and Furious 10 cast members?
Because F9 just concluded and none of the main cast members died, we can assume that the entire cast is returning for Fast and Furious 10. Here’s a complete list of all the cast members that we can expect to show up for Fast and Furious 10:
Vin Diesel as Dominic Teretto Michelle Rodriguez as Leticia “Letty” Ortiz Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto Chris Bridges as Tej Parker Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce Nathalie Emmanual as Megan Ramsey Sung Kang as Han Lue Charlize Theron as Cypher Helen Mirren as Queenie John Cena as Jakob Toretto Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw Cardi B as Leysa Mirtha
Unfortunately, not everyone is coming back for Fast and Furious 10. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, in particular, won’t be in it. Johnson confirmed that he isn’t going to come back for the last two Fast and Furious films. There’s also his beef with Vin Diesel of course. With that said, Justin Lin, who directed F9, will come back to helm Fast and Furious 10.
What’s next after Fast and Furious 10?
Good news mi familia, Fast and Furious 10 isn’t the only film of the franchise that’s in development. There are at least two more movies that Fast fans can expect to come speeding into theaters after Fast and Furious 10: Hobbs & Shaw 2 and Fast and Furious 11. There’s no official word about Hobbs & Shaw 2 yet. However, many believe that the last two Fast and Furious films will be shot back to back.
