With that said, Ubisoft still hasn’t revealed more details about the upcoming DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. In their stead, leakers have stepped up to the plate to provide intel. The latest of which all but confirms the content and release date of the ambitious Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla expansion.
A quick recap of all the Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla DLC rumors
Earlier this year, several rumors started from a french Youtuber about more DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Ubisoft eventually confirmed this themselves, albeit we haven’t heard about the said additional content since. But, there has been more speculations and leaks in the past few months. Case in point, there are talks about the upcoming DLC being named “Dawn of Ragnarok” with a later leak suggesting that Ubisoft intends to release the said expansion on March 2022. Now, the Assassin’s Creed subreddit is buzzing after someone dropped a handful of pictures with information about Valhalla’s upcoming massive expansion. Unfortunately, the files originated from an unnamed Chinese-language site, so the description might not be accurate. But, the gist is that it will take place in Svartalfheim, confirming earlier rumors - with Eivor aiding Odin to save his son, Baldur, from Surtur as Ragnarok comes. Of course, because this is all unconfirmed information, we suggest that you take everything we just read with a grain of salt. Previously, it was suggested that Ubisoft would announce Dawn of Ragnarok at The Game Awards 2021, but this never happened. However, Ubisoft is set to launch patch 1.4.1 for Assasin’s Creed Valhalla by next week. Fingers crossed, we’ll hear more about Dawn of Ragnarok, or whatever it will be called, by then.
