At the moment, Valhalla has one DLC available to download. Wrath of the Druids didn’t add much to the game’s story, which is what left fans disappointed. The verdict is still out if The Siege of Paris will be better in that regard, but what is essentially guaranteed by now is that future DLCs for Valhalla will contain more story-related content that should go on and explore the events following the conclusion of the base game. Now, a known leaker seems to have found proof as to what kind of content we can expect in future Valhalla DLCs.
Is Kassandra’s appearance in future Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLCs confirmed?
First things first, let’s get the elephant out of the room. Kassandra SHOULD have died before the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Her adventures (and sexcapades) took place sometime from 431 to 422 BCE. Meanwhile, the events of Valhalla are set between 872 to 878 AD. Canonically, this means that more than a thousand years separate the events between the two games. However, Kassandra is immortal and is the canon character over her brother, Alexios. Her hold over the Staff of Hermes means that she is still technically alive during the events of Valhalla, which means that the leak is plausible. Another factor that adds weight to the leak is that it comes from j0nathan. The French Youtuber has been a constant and reliable source of information related to Assassin’s Creed. Even before Ubisoft confirmed that Valhalla will have more DLCs, he was one of the first to claim that the studio was going to support the latest Assassin’s Creed game for way longer than its predecessors. Now that we know that there’s more to look forward to following the arrival of The Siege of Paris, all bets are off and everything that j0nathan is saying in his latest video could be true.
How will Kassandra appear in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
J0nathan found evidence in the game’s files of what appears to be a conversation between the two Assassin’s Creed protagonists. J0nathan only talks about the introduction part of the quest. This might be partly because he couldn’t access the rest of the in-game files or he wanted to avoid spoiling everything. The latter is less likely, but it is possible, especially if it reveals something big. With that said, the quest should begin when a certain character goes to Ravensthorpe to tell the news of Randvi’s sighting on Skye Island. Eivor then heads off to Skye Island where he finds someone that looks a lot like Randvi but isn’t. This person turns out to be Kassandra. J0nathan didn’t talk much about whether the two would work together or what happens when the two meet. However, it is interesting to know that these two end up meeting each other. Even if the chances are low, it’s not exactly impossible. As we’ve already mentioned, Kassandra is immortal and she could have gone on adventures all over the world before her death thousands of years after the events of Odyssey. Of course, this doesn’t officially confirm anything either. The existence of this conversation in the game files only suggests that Ubisoft toyed around with the idea. It doesn’t mean that it is going to actually come to the game anytime soon. Ultimately, we’d recommend taking this information with a grain of salt. At the same time, we do suggest keeping an open mind. We know for sure that the story of Valhalla isn’t over yet. There are still the rumored adventures of Eivor through Zvarthalheim and Muspelheim, so perhaps this conversation will take place then. Remember, as the assassin’s like to say, nothing is true and everything is permitted.
