Players may not be expecting updates that are unrelated to the ongoing Reality Zero story. Still, the Zero Build mode introduction last season hints at circumstances contrary to traditional beliefs. Players might think that complete game-changing additions such as Zero Build are a while off, but the recent leaks suggest otherwise.
A credible Fortnite insider, HYPEX, has come forth with some exciting new leaks suggesting that the first-person mode for Fortnite might be in development. Epic has not shared anything official about the first-person mode coming to Fortnite, but HYPEX shared an image of first-person mode as seen in-game.
This update Epic began working on some stuff about first person camera mode but there’s no other info about it at the moment as it looks like it’s still in early development. Would work REALLY well for the Zero Build Modes 👀 pic.twitter.com/PIRRmdLyp0 — HYPEX (@HYPEX) June 7, 2022 HYPEX stresses that the mode is still under development and can go well with the aforementioned Zero Build modes. Using first-person mode in a scenario where you are tested purely based on your gun skill can indeed go very well. Zero Build mode added features such as sprinting, better sliding, and mantling. In combination with the Zero Build mode, the first-person mode would bring the gameplay style to conformance with other popular Battle Royale games such as Warzone, Apex Legends, and PUBG. Despite HYPEX suggesting a suitable game mode for playing as first-person in Fortnite, it is unknown where or how the first-person mode will be utilized. With the ongoing storyline, it won’t be a surprise if Epic somehow manages to integrate the first-person mode into it. For all we know, the mode could just be a limited-time event, or it might be a new mode introduced in the game, similar to the Zero Build mode. If it is introduced in the standard Fortnite, building in first-person mode will be a pain. This is everything we have on the new rumors surrounding Fortnite. As “out-of-place” as it may seem for Fortnite to have the first-person mode, it is a very plausible feature to be added. If Zero Build mode could make its way into a game known for building, why not the first-person mode?
