As per usual, Epic Games announced the free Epic Games Store titles last Thursday, giving away the likes of theHunter: Call of the Wild and Antstream Epic Welcome Pack. While these are nice freebies, what’s gotten fans excited are the games up for grabs starting December 2 through December 9.
The Epic Games Store might just be getting started
Once theHunter: Call of the Wild and Anstream Epic Welcome Pack leave the Epic Games Store on December 2, anyone can start downloading Dead By Daylight and While True: Learn (). These two are the first free Epic Games Store games for December, which is an excellent way to start Christmas. Dead by Daylight is one of the most successful asymmetrical multiplayer games available today. It’s already in its sixth year with Chapter 22 expected to come soon. So far, the game has featured several licensed characters and villains including Scream’s Ghost Face and Resident Evil’s Nemesis, among many others. If you haven’t had a chance to play the game yet, we recommend giving Dead by Daylight a shot, especially with a winter event expected to run from December 9 through December 23. While True: Learn () isn’t half-bad either. This little-unknown puzzle simulation game has received plenty of praise for its educational value even if it wasn’t designed for educational purposes. The basic premise of the game is that you take on the role of a coder who sets out to create a cat-to-human speech recognition program after you find out that your cat is great at coding. If you’ve got kids and younger teenagers who’d like to learn more about coding and coding concepts, developer Luden.io describes While True: Learn () as the ideal game for those purposes. Overall, the Epic Games Store is starting December off on the right note. After several weeks of very few noteworthy games if any at all, Epic Games is making sure that it ends the year right. Hopefully, Dead by Daylight isn’t the only big Epic Games Store freebie this month of December. Speaking of freebies, Sony hasn’t confirmed its December 2021 lineup for PlayStation Plus users yet. However, according to a very reliable source, Godfall will be among them.
