Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Title Update 1.3.0 dropped today bringing a huge swath of updates, fixes, improvements and even some new content to the game - as is to be expected from any patch clocking in at well over 15 and upwards of 30 gigabytes on certain platforms. However, the most interesting thing about 1.3.0 might not be even part of the patch itself, but rather information that can be gleaned from the patch notes.

It seems that Ubisoft is gearing up to release The Siege Of Paris, Valhalla’s next major expansion, on the 12th of August. Earlier reports have pegged August 5 as the release date, mainly based on a leaked listing from the Windows Store. Either those reports were incorrect, or Ubisoft simply chose to delay the release. It wouldn’t be the first time. The title update itself that we learned this new information from is bringing new level scaling features, an expanded and improved skill tree system, the Sigrblot Festival event with a unique exclusive weapon unlock and the usual gamut of bug fixes, performance improvements and other tweaks to make Assassin’s Creed Valhalla run better and more smoothly. The Siege Of Paris will be a much meatier update with a new area to explore and a new storyline to play through, including a number of main missions. This will be the game’s second proper expansion after Wrath of the Druids was released earlier this year. The Siege Of Paris is also the last expansion the game is getting, with Ubisoft winding down the Valhalla era in preparation for the future of the franchise. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege Of Paris is coming on the 12th of August, 2021.
