As revealed at the end of the Capcom Pro Tour esports event, Capcom is working on Street Fighter 6 with plans to share more about the upcoming fight game in “summer 2022.” Capcom’s official announcement marks the first time that the public has known about Street Fighter 6, although it’s something that fans have suspected for a while. Capcom didn’t have a lot to show for the next Street Fighter game outside of a brief trailer featuring long-time series protagonist, Ryu, squaring off against newcomer, Luke, who Capcom described as part of the franchise’s future last year....

As revealed by Dragon’s Dogma director, Hideaki Itsuno, a follow-up to the cult-classic RPG is in the works. The news came as a surprise at the end of today’s 10 Years of Dragon’s Dogma livestream, where the Dragon’s Dogma team took off their hoodies to reveal matching t-shirts with a logo of Dragon’s Dogma 2. Dragon’s Dogma first came out in 2012 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and was a critical success....

CD Projekt Red previously stated that Cyberpunk 2007’s post-release support will be very similar to that of The Witcher 3, which was universally praised for its approach to DLC. A Twitter user asked the official Cyberpunk 2077 account about whether or not the game will have free DLC like the Witcher 3 did. The response from the developers came in the form of a Kool-Aid Man gif, which is a pretty enthusiastic confirmation....

What does it mean for Strange to be a central Avenger? 2016’s Doctor Strange introduced the titular superhero to movie audiences as it explored how Dr. Stephen Strange went from an arrogant world-class surgeon to a still-over-confident Sorcerer Supreme. Since then, Strange has appeared in several other MCU films, including Spider-Man: No Way Home, where his attempt to help out Tom Holland’s Peter Parker ended with disastrous results for both parties....

Having said that, fans do at least have two titles from BioWare to look forward to in Dragon Age 4 and Mass Effect 4. Now, it appears that Dragon Age 4 could be here soon enough. According to an episode of GrubbsNax, industry insider Jeff Grubb claims that the latest installment in BioWare’s epic fantasy series is on track for a late 2023 release. To be specific, Grubb describes the game’s development to be in “very good shape” and that it is at least 18 months away from launch....

And, unlike both aforementioned film universes, Sony hasn’t produced a critical darling or even something remotely close to it. 2018’s Venom holds an approval rating of 30% based on 359 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and its 2021 sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, didn’t fare any better at all. However, both have been huge commercial hits, with the Venom sequel pulling in half a million despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns at the time....

According to Insider Gaming, EA Motive has started the playtesting phase for its upcoming game. Specifically, the playtesting sessions run from October 31 to November 2. Before you get too optimistic, EA will not show actual gameplay during this period. Instead, this 1-on-1 test will involve asking players for feedback on potential gameplay features such as plot points and game modes as well as so much more.
